Paul Barton receives the 2021 Constantin Caratheodory Prize in Global Optimization

Prof. Paul I. Barton has been awarded the 2021 Constantin Caratheodory Prize in Global Optimization, together with Prof. Hoai An Le Thi from the University of Lorraine, France. The prize is awarded bi-annually to an individual (or a group) in recognition of fundamental contributions to theory, algorithms, and applications of global optimization. The selection criteria include scientific excellence, innovation, significance, depth, and impact.
